The facts about business saving accounts

Business account holders must be resident in the UK at the time of opening the account.

The maximum deposit for bonds is £1 million and for accounts is £10 million.

For all accounts, your can choose whether interest is to be paid monthly or yearly.

All interest rates are variable and change any time.

Withdrawals sent by electronic transfer via your external account will normally take 3 working days.

Some Banks also charge money for telephonic withdrawals. Like Standard Chartered Bank charge For Premium Accounts, an Excess Telephone Charge of £50, if you makes more than 3 withdrawals by telephone in any year on a Premium Account.

If you withdraw without giving notice in Notice accounts or give short notice, you have to pay some penalty for that.  Like Standard Chartered Bank charge penalty  For 10 Day Notice Accounts,  equal to 10 days' gross interest on the amount withdrawn if you does not give us 10 clear days' notice of withdrawal. For 60 Day Notice Accounts they will charge a penalty equal to 60 days' gross interest on the amount withdrawn if you does not give us 60 clear days' notice of withdrawal.
